Upcoming NGTL Empress and McNeill Borders FT-D Open Season
NGTL GP Ltd., as general partner on behalf of NGTL Limited Partnership (collectively “NGTL”) anticipates holding an Expansion Capacity Open Season in August and closing in September for Firm Transportation - Delivery Group 1 Service (FT-D1) at the Empress and McNeill Borders ("EGAT Open Season"). The available Expansion Capacity is expected to be up to 235,000 GJ/day with an estimated Service Commencement Date of April 1, 2029, based on determination of expansion facility readiness.
The Expansion Capacity offered through this EGAT Open Season can be used to accommodate Firm Transportation – Delivery service at the Empress and McNeill Group 1 Delivery Points, and may be able to accommodate certain Group 2 and Group 3 Delivery Points and certain extraction service (“OS-EXT”) locations (“Common Capacity”) including certain locations in the Upstream James River (USJR), North East Delivery Area (NEDA), Oil Sands Delivery Area (OSDA) and East Gate (EGAT) areas.
This EGAT Open Season will include an ability to request advance consideration of a one-time relocation to qualifying Group 2 and Group 3 Delivery Points and qualifying OS-EXT locations.
NGTL anticipates aligning the timing of this EGAT Open Season with an expected Greater Edmonton Area Offering for expansion service.
Additional details on the Open Season will be provided on the Customer Express website anticipated in July.
