Transferring Station #2 Shipper account balances from GMS to LINK

Summary:

Transferring Station #2 Shipper account balances from GMS to LINK

As part of the LINK transition, all Station #2 cumulative imbalances will be transferred from GMS to LINK. If the imbalance on October 1st is outside of the 2% tolerance range, a shipper will not be allowed to incur any further daily imbalance unless it is a correction to the account. To avoid potential cuts, Westcoast strongly recommends that all shippers with Station #2 accounts bring their imbalance to within the 2% tolerance before end of day September 28 and remain within the tolerance for GD29 & GD30.

Preliminary imbalances will be entered and updated into LINK as follows:

   -  On September 29th, the GD28 EOD cumulative imbalance will be copied and displayed in LINK for September 30th gas day.

   -  On October 2nd, the previously copied imbalance for GD30 (from GD28 EOD cumulative imbalance) will be overwritten with the actual GD30 GMS imbalances.

Shippers can access the GMS report Estimate / Suspense Account Imbalance Summary report to confirm the volume that is being brought over on each day. Shippers can see this imbalance  in the Shipper Imbalance Summary  screen in LINK.

For further questions, please contact Westcoast Gas Scheduling and CSR hotline at (403) 699-1800.
