STRAINED OPERATING CONDITION (SOC) Declaration - System Wide DRAFT
EFFECTIVE DATE: May 28, 2025
IMBALANCE TOLERANCE: 5%
DURATION: Until Further Notice
AFFECTED AREAS/LOCATIONS: System-wide
OPERATING CONDITION SUMMARY: The EPNG system linepack is currently at 7,615 MMcf which is a decrease of 245 MMcf compared to the start of Gas Day May 27, 2025. The linepack draft is primarily due to deliveries in excess of scheduled volumes and a loss of supply in the Permian basin. As a reminder, the Line 2000 scheduled maintenance reduces the usable system linepack and reduces EPNG's linepack flexibility. (Reference Pipeline Conditions Notice: 624871)
CUSTOMER ACTION REQUIRED: Customers are strongly encouraged to review their transport to ensure that their deliveries are in balance with their supplies and to ensure their scheduled supplies are performing as expected.
EPNG RESPONSE:
• Washington Ranch is on withdrawal.
• Imbalance payback off the system, such as Payback (Imbalance Payback from TSP), will be denied due to operational concerns related to maintaining adequate linepack.
• IHSW Service will be suspended.
