MNCA Imbalance Notice -- UPDATE
Notice Text:
Effective for Gas Day September 5, 2025, Maritimes Canada MNC requires shippers and point operators not to exceed daily due pipe imbalances of 250 GJ or 2% (whichever is greater) regardless of their cumulative imbalances. As such, MNC will not allow Transaction Type 03 nominations in excess of 250 GJ per contract.
To the extent shippers and/or point operators do not adhere to this requirement, MNC may issue customer specific OFOs pursuant to General Terms and Conditions Section 10, in order to maintain the operational integrity of the system.
This OFO will remain in effect until further notice.
Correspondingly, effective 9:00 AM CCT, September 5, 2025, the previously posted imbalance notice is no longer in effect.
