Station 2 Maintenance Work - September to November

Loss of critical unit (LCU) protection at Station 2 on the Prairies Pipeline System will be limited from September to November due to required upgrades and reliability work at the compressor station.
During this period, Prairies system capacity is expected to remain similar to current levels in capacity postings. However, there will be a higher risk to firm and discretionary services should an additional unplanned compressor unit outage occur at Station 2, or at downstream compressor station facilities in the SSDA.
TC Energy will be employing additional measures to minimize both the potential for, and impacts from, unplanned outages during periods when LCU protection is limited.
The dates of maintenance where LCU protection will be limited are:
September 2-30
October 1-2 & 20-21
November 3-21
TC Energy will regularly communicate updates on progress of the maintenance work throughout these periods via Bulletins. TC Energy will also continue to communicate system capacity on a regular basis through the weekly Maintenance Capacity Bulletins.
Note that system capacities are variable due to many factors including forecast delivery distribution, ambient temperatures, gas stream energy content, facility availability, and interconnect assistance as applicable. Actual capacities on the day may vary due to changes to the maintenance schedule, unplanned events, and differences between forecast and actual conditions.
