Burrillville to EOLN L30B Valve Section 2 Unplanned Outage

Notice Text:

Algonquin Gas Transmission (AGT) has experienced an unplanned outage while completing previously posted detailed investigations on line 30B, Burrillville to EOLN, Valve Section 2.  AGT will be required to reduce pressure downstream of the Burrillville compressor station to accommodate these investigations.

As a result of the pressure reduction associated with this detailed investigation, west to east capacities will be reduced to the following for the compressor stations and lateral listed below:

Reduced to approximately

Stony Point                      1,543,000 Dth/d

Southeast                         1,486,000 Dth/d

Oxford                             1,263,000 Dth/d

Cromwell                         1,155,000 Dth/d

Burrillville                       950,000 Dth/d

G System                         340,000 Dth/d

AGT will take these capacity reductions into consideration during the Timely Cycle for Gas Day August 1, 2025.  AGT anticipates the detailed investigation will continue through Gas Day August 6, 2025.

Furthermore, the pressure restrictions will cause operators downstream of Burrillville to experience lower than historical pressures.   With the loss of flexibility due to the pressure restriction, AGT will require point operators to schedule volumes consistent with their anticipated takes.   Any deviations in physical takes from scheduled quantities must be coordinated with AGT.

AGT will post updates as information is known.

Please contact your Operations Account Representative should you have any questions.
