In our continued efforts to refine cyber-security protocols, all Equitrans Midstream Gas Management System users will be required to register an
Authenticator App to their Self Service Password Reset (SSPR) security profile by mid October 2022 (TBD). If an authenticator app is not added to
the user’s authentication methods by this date, the user will be unable to access the Equitrans’ Customer Activities systems until an authenticator app
has been added. We recommend users allow sufficient time to work through this process if you are trying to enter the Equitrans’ Customer Activities
system for any reason.

For users that have not yet registered an Authenticator App, please follow these instructions. Note you will also need your mobile device to which
you will be installing the Authenticator App.

On your computer:
1. Open a private browser (ie Chrome Incognito or Edge InPrivate browsing mode).
2. Copy and paste this url into the private browser: https://myaccount.microsoft.com/
3. Log into your account using your User id in the form of an Equitrans email address (ie

).

4. Click on “Security Info”.
5. Click on “+ Add sign-in method”.
6. Select “Authenticator App” and click on “Add”.

On your mobile device:
1. Install the Authenticator App if it is not already installed.
2. Follow the prompts on the mobile device to add “Work or School Account”.
3. Tap on “Scan QR Code”.
4. Use your mobile device to scan the QR code on your computer when prompted and then click on “Next”.

You will be prompted on your computer to approve the Authenticator App. You will then see the Equitrans Midstream Corporation account added to
your mobile device’s Authenticator App. You will also see the Authenticator App listed in your Microsoft Security Info on your computer.

Published instructions are also posted at the link provided below within the training materials section of our customer portal. Instructions are labeled
“Equitrans Self Service Password Reset Instructions”.
